Victoria's Secret Crush Fragrance Review

Monday, October 10, 2016

Victoria's Secret has finally released their new scent Crush* here in Australia. When I was approached to try it out and write about it, of course I said yes!

If you're someone that is a usual to my blog, you would already know how obsessed I am with pretty much every Victoria's Secret scent ever released or in my collection. I have probably too many of their body sprays and I also love their Victoria's Secret Angel Fragrance.

Now, I get to welcome a new scent into my VS family called Crush.

What is crush? To me, the scent is a combination of sweet and floral, with a hint of spice.

Crush comes in a perfume, shower gel and lotion. Out of the three formulas, I'm sure most of you are excited about the perfume, so let's start there.

The full size packaging is adorable and I love that there is a throwback element with the atomizer. Of course, the perfume is the strongest in terms of the scent and lasts the longest. I also appreciate the baby mini size that is available because travelling with a large perfume isn't any fun. I also find it quite the hassle to transfer my perfumes into smaller packaging, so yes, a definite thumbs up.

The fragrance shower gel and fragrance lotion are of a thin consistency and I actually think that they are more potent than my other shower gels and lotions from Victoria's Secret. They genuinely surprised me because I usually find that the shower gels and lotions don't linger on my skin or really show up, but these do.

I can definitely see myself using the shower gel during the warmer months of the year for a nice sweet hit. The lotion is more of a now item which I've started integrating into my routine. I first lather on a thicker moisturiser and then add Crush on top for the scent.

Overall, I'm really happy with this scent because at this time of year I usually go for more fresh and herby scents than sweet. It's nice to mix things up and I'm excited to have Crush in my routine. Having a layered scent in a shower wash, lotion and perfume really means that this scent won't budge throughout the day.
