Shades from left to right: CN010, CN020, CN030, CN040

The Zoeva Contour Spectrum Palette* is made up of four powder shades. In this palette, you receive one banana shade, one highlighter and two contour shades.

Going through the shades, I'd say that the banana shade CN010 is perfect for setting the under eye area or eyelid before applying eyeshadows. The highlighter CN030 might not look like much in the pan or in the swatches, but wow it's stunning. I tried my best to capture this in a photo of an up close swatch but I really struggled! Just take my word that it's a sheen highlighter, with a lovely iridescence and a gold touch to it. It's perfect for highlighting the tops of your cheeks, the inner corner, under the brow bone or even as a colour all over the lid.

With the two contour shades, CN020 is slightly darker in pigmentation and more warm, while CN040 is cooler and lighter. Because I am quite tanned, CN040 is a great shade to begin to lighten chisel my cheekbones and I then use CN020 as a bronzer to warm up my complexion.  I'm also an advocate of using contour shades as eyeshadows, so I'd also use these in my crease.

All powders are of course smooth, buttery, have zero fall out and blend like a dream. I say of course because we all know by now that Zoeva means business with all of their formulas. I'd even go as far to say that for a point of comparison, the formula of these are smoother than the Kat Von D Shade and Light palette contour shades.

A reason why the powders are so smooth could be because one of the key ingredients in the formulation is Vitamin E.

The packaging of this product is like its brothers and sisters in the Spectrum Collection. Matte black packaging with a few beautiful reflective rainbow lines. Yes, this palette doesn't have a mirror. But, because it is so lightweight, I still think that this would be a great product to travel with.

Do I love this palette? Um, YES! I'm thrilled that the shades are so smooth and easy to blend. I don't have any harsh lines and I don't need to use very much product. I think that this palette will last me quite a while!
