Maybelline The Nudes Palette Swatched and Reviewed
Friday, November 13, 2015
Eyeshadow palettes with nude, naked, natural shadows are all the rage at the moment. However, most of them are very expensive and difficult to get your hands on here in Australia. Of course when I saw the Maybelline The Nudes Palette* show up in front of me, I was so excited to give it a shot and post a mini review plus swatches for you all.
These shadows are a little bit hit and miss. Some of them are smooth but on the other hand some of them have a bit too much fallout. The majority of them are okay pigmented, a couple super pigmented and as you can see in the last swatch photo, the black isn't really that strong. But the colours are buildable and if you are a beginner, or want a more subtle look, less pigmentation can be a good thing.
By no means is this palette a dupe for any high end nude / naked / natural palettes, but I think that this palette does really offer some lovely shades. This palette is probably the perfect palette for someone who is new to makeup and just wants to have a bit of a play with some safe eye looks. If you already have some of the higher end palettes, I don't think you really need this one, but it is only $25.95, so if you are an addict (like me), then really what's one more!?
