For the last month I have been using the Kosmea Certified Organic Rosehip Oil*. I am so excited to finally be able to share the results with you all.


Since entering high school I have suffered with acne. It was predominantly 'normal' acne, so the type that the 'typical' teenager would get. Later on in high school, my acne began getting more hormonal. During 2013 (my first year of university), I began getting incredibly deep, cystic acne. Unfortunately, I picked and created scars which I assume will be with me forever. This year my skin has been okay. It was definitely better at the end of last year when I was doing facials but I just don't have the finances to currently keep that up.

Before the trial 
The worst side of my face is definitely the right. Towards my chin I have clusters of cystic acne where they've decided to hold a party and get together (not fun). The texture is horrible, bumpy and quite painful. The left side of my face is okay. I have some cysts and hormonal acne, but it's nowhere near as drastic. I do however have pretty bad redness too. I was therefore really pumped to be contacted to trial the Kosmea Organic Rosehip Oil.

Two weeks into the trial 
I began trialling this Rosehip Oil on the 13th of June and just finished using it today. Application is really easy. I wash my face, dry it, use a toner and while my face is still wet I rub in around 4 drops at night time into my skin, then follow up with a moisturiser. During the day if I was wearing makeup, I'd apply maybe 1 and a half drops.

I knew I wanted to take before and after posts at the beginning and the end of this trial. What I didn't know is that it would start making such a huge difference two weeks in. Can you please just stare at the photos of my right face in awe!? The upper section of redness decreased so much. I was already feeling much more confident when I looked at myself in the mirror. A lot of the redness I had two weeks ago cleared up on my left side, but I sadly gained new spots in the meantime and they're just deciding to be red to annoy me.

One month into the trial 
I still have my cysts and I still have redness. But, there is definitely a huge improvement. I honestly think the results speak for themselves. I can't believe this has happened in one month so believe me when I say I'm excited to see what happens with continued use.

The Body Shop has always been one of my favourite brands when it comes to all things skincare, bodycare and haircare. Hearing about their new Spa of The World range made me super excited and what made me even more excited was the fact that my local The Body Shop contacted me with the offer of a small goodie hamper to try out; score! 
The Spa of The World range is going to be released in Australia on the 24th of September so I thought I would put these all to the test ASAP and let you know how they are. 

If you're a bit unsure about what this new range is intended to be, here is a quick little recap:

• This range is supposed to provide us with all of the feelings of luxury we feel when we visit a day spa - in the comfort of our own homes
• This range draws on some of the highest quality ingredients from the 'corners of the earth' - so there are lots of different ingredients that you may not have used before 
• All of the products are 'infused with the finest natural ingredients, refined textures and deliciate fragrances' 

The products that I was provided with to trial out are:

• Dead Sea Salt Scrub
• Moroccan Rhassoul Body Clay
• Polynesian Monoi Radiance Oil
• Japanese Camella Cream 

First impressions wise staring at the packaging you can definitely see that The Body Shop has upped their packaging game. The products look very luxurious and feel luxurious to touch. The plastic feels of a higher quality and the gold detail on the packaging also elaborates the high quality.
The Dead Sea Salt Scrub* is not like ordinary salt scrubs, or ones that I've tried before anyway. This particular salt scrub is thick and almost creamy. What I find with most salt scrubs is that the formula is too fine and dry so when I try to rub it in circular motions (dry of course) it is quite scratchy. This formula feels actually quite moisturising and the size of the salt is on the larger size so it doesn't melt away as soon as you apply it because of your body heat. It is a little messy so I would definitely recommend using this product in your shower and maybe you can do a bit of shower cleaning while you wait 10 minutes for it to dry (which is exactly what I did today). I like using this scrub in areas that are fairly dry or have some of those incredibly unwanted stretchmarks.
Moroccan Rhassoul Body Clay* is incredibly smooth and cooling. This body clay is intended to help firm up areas that have sadly sagged or are not as firm as we would hope them to be.Therefore, I apply this to areas such as my bottom. When I picked up my hamper the lovely Bec from The Body Shop Chadstone explained to me that this product should be applied in a large enough consistency so that you cannot see the skin underneath, but not too thick that the formula struggles to dry. I let this baby stay on the skin for about 10 minutes as well and wash off in the shower in circular motions. I feel like its difficult to say whether or not this product has helped with firming or will help in the future, but I will definitely keep you all posted on whether I notice a difference.
Polynesian Monoi Radiance Oil* instantly gave me a flashback as soon as I opened it. If you have ever visited any of the Polynesian islands, wow oh wow this will bring back memories! It smells exactly like my trips to Fiji and this product probably excited me the most. This oil is thick and luxurious. A little definitely goes a long way. You can apply this oil to pretty much everywhere! Last but not least is the Japanese Camella Cream*. Like all of these products, this cream smells heavenly. It smells subtly floral and fresh. This cream is of a normal consistency, so if you are someone that doesn't like a sticky cream, this one is definitely for you. It goes on relatively thin but is definitely moisturising and you can apply as much as your heart desires.

If there was one little thing to pick on it would be that the Body Clay comes in squeeze packaging vs a tub. Once I tried using the Body Clay and went in for more, my hands were already covered and trying to squeeze out more product was a little messy.

Overall, I think these are beautiful products. This is just a small taste of the overall Spa of The World Product range and when the range is released I think you should definitely pop in store. This range will be fairly expensive compared to other The Body Shop products but of course when you go in store you can smell and experience all of these products for yourself.
