There are many subscription boxes floating around the internet. You're either a really big fan of them, or can't stand them.
Lipmonthly* "helps you discover the best lip products on the market." They also chuck in a non lip related product or two as well. So a couple quick bits of information
- The service is $10 a month with an additional $5 fee for customers outside of the USA & Canada
- You can choose how long your subscription service is: 1 month, 4 month or annually
- Orders are usually shipped out on the 10th of every month so if you order for example the April service, don't expect your shipment until the end of April or beginning of May
So Susan Lip Dome FULL SIZE $10 in the colour Black Currant*
This is the first So Susan product I've tried. Like your typical lip 'crayon' it isn't overly pigmented but it does leave a beautiful sheen on the lips. It also smells like bubblegum - yum!Be a Bombshell Lipgloss FULL SIZE $13 in hooked*
This would be my favourite of the products. It is a beautiful lipgloss but I do have to say that the smell isn't that appealing. The product itself is highly pigmented, offers a nice amount of shine and moisture.
Jelly Pong Pong Supermodel Stain FULL SIZE $25*
Out of all of the products this one is probably what impresses me the least. It is made up of four different lip and cheek stain colours, however the sizing is highly nonfunctional and the colours itself aren't awfully pigmented. To me it just seems like something that's thrown in to make up the contents. I personally would've rather going without it.
Cargo Eye Shadow FULL SIZE $16 in Flint*
This was a pleasant surpirse! A non-lip product that is actually of amazing quality. Flint is a gorgeous grey-brown matte eyeshadow which I'm highly excited to use more.
OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Laguna Beach*
I'm assuming that this product was thrown in as a bonus and yay I am glad! This product is of the same consistency of Nyx Butter glosses but slightly thicker. Swatches beautifully and has relatively good lasting power.Are you interested in LipMonthly?
What subscription boxes have you tried?
PS: After investigation I have found that past Lip Monthly boxes have contained many discontinued items and thus received some negative reviews. Prior to posting this I investigated the contents of this box and all of the products are still being sold. The only difference is that the OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick is in the older style of packaging - but that doesn't concern me. What do you think?
