Antipodes Review

Saturday, March 14, 2015

Antipodes is a scientific organic beauty brand that produces premium natural skincare and makeup. Upon stalking their website I also learnt that their packaging is recyclable - green thumbs up!

I received a couple products and thought I would give you the low-down on them in case you were interested.

Both the Medium Beige* & Translucent* powders are extremely fine and silky. There is a slight shimmer. but it isn't anything invasive. The Medium Beige powder provides medium coverage and is definitely buildable. The Translucent Powder doesn't leave my face with a white cast and makes my foundation underneath look flawless.

One definite positive is the packaging of their powders.  As you can see in the image above there is a spinning lid which allows you to use as much powder as you like and put it away confidently knowing that your powder won't spill everywhere.

The Kabuki Brush isn't my favourite Kabuki Brush on the market. It is an extremely handy size for travelling, but it can be a little scratchy if you don't use a light hand.

The Hand // Body Cream smells very fresh and zesty. The formula itself is very thick, therefore this cream lingers and is perfect for deep moisturising and pampering! Something that I really liked about this cream in particular was how it begins with a herbal scent and after a while becomes semi sweet. As with most tube moisturisers, be careful with this product so gravity doesn't take its course and leave product escaping from the top when you open it next time.

Have you tried Antipodes before? If so, what was your favourite product?
