Becca Cosmetics Champagne Splits Swatched and Reviewed
Wednesday, August 10, 2016Becca Cosmetics has recently released two new products under their collaboration with Jaclyn Hill. I am super excited today to be showing and telling you my thoughts on their new Split Pans*.
Prosecco Pop & Amaretto | Prosecco Pop & Pamplemousse
Champagne Pop & Flowerchild | Champagne Pop & Hyacinth

Inside, half of the compact is taken up by a Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector (Highlighter), in either Prosecco Pop or Champagne Pop. The other half of the compact has one of Becca's gorgeous Mineral Blushes.
I honestly believe that the formula of both the highlighters and blushes are faultless. I would actually go far enough to say that I think that the formula of these is even slightly better than the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Face Palette (which I already love and you can read about here). That could just be in my head though because I love compact products more than palettes when it comes to face goodies, but trust me - they're great.
My favourites of the bunch would be the duos with Flowerchild and Amaretto as I'm more into subtle blushes and I get the most wear of my makeup during the day. However, I definitely would reach for the darker blush duos in Hyacinth and Pamplemousse during the night time.
Who are these products for? Well of course, anyone who is a sucker for highlighters, blushes and anything Becca / Jaclyn Hill related needs to get these. I also think that if you're someone who travels and doesn't want to compromise on quality for convenience. That's usually one of my pet peeves because duos for travel aren't usually that great. Uh no hunny, not the case here.
I particularly think that the Split Pans are most suited to those of you who have thought that Champagne Pop won't suit your skin colour. I also think that it's a great way to trial the Becca blush formula. I mean, you get the best of both worlds because you get to try two in one. If you fall in love with Champagne Pop or a blush, you can commit to the whole compact.
I think that these are going to be a major hit. I'm crossing my fingers that Becca carry on the idea of these Split Pans and make some with their highlighter Opal because I cannot get enough of it. To think of Opal paired with a Becca blush would just be my ultimate travel makeup dream.
In terms of a release date, they are already available in the USA both in stores and online. When it comes to Australia sadly I can't tell you. Unfortunately I haven't heard back from Sephora Australia when they're going to be available. But, when I find out I'll definitely let you know on my Instagram and Snapchat katina-lindaa, so make sure you're following me over there to keep up to date.
If you're curious about the also newly released Becca Slimlights which are used for precise application of highlighter or an eyeshadow base, click here to see my swatch and review post.
Will you be picking up any of the Becca Cosmetics Split Pans?
