The Amazing Rimmel The Only 1 Range Swatched and Reviewed
Wednesday, February 10, 2016
It's been a while since I've tried a product from Rimmel that's really taken my breath away. I'm so happy to say that the new Rimmel The Only 1 Lipstick Range*is incredible and that after seeing this post, you'll probably walk away saying I need this.
First off let me just say that this range is incredible. I keep feeling like drugstore brands are really raising the quality of their products. To be speaking quite honestly, the last few months, I can probably only count the amount of times I've used a high end lipstick on one hand.
Left to Right: 200 It's A Keeper | 120 You're All Mine | 600 Peachy Beachy |
610 Cheeky Coral | 300 Listen Up |510 Best of the Best
The Rimmel The Only 1 Lipstick range is super smooth and buttery. I don't think I quite have an equivalent that I can compare it too. It feels extremely hydrating, smooth, luxurious and the colour pay off as you can see from the swatches, is incredible.
Here in Australia we have 12 shades available and one of these lipsticks will cost you around $15-$16. You can find where to purchase these lipsticks here.
One difference between these lipsticks to many other ranges is the fact that these lipsticks aren't shaped or tapered into the typical lipstick shape. It's flat. This might be good or bad for you,
Depending on what you like. I personally think it's perfect because once I've begun reaching for a lipstick over and over, the typical lipstick shape is long gone. Mine goes on a bit of a curved diagonal actually.
What do you think of the Rimmel The Only 1 Range?
When you use a lipstick many times, what type of shape does yours turn into?
