It must be getting tough for Maybelline. I mean, how can they keep improving their lip range when it's already just that good. I feel like everything I use on my lips from Maybelline is incredible.

Whether it be Babylips, Color Sensational and now Color Blur.

To me, this product does sound pretty unique, especially to the drugstore. Essentially, you wind up the tube and apply the product on your lips. It's called a pencil, but it feels like a crayon. The second side is a sponge, which you obviously smudge the product with. The idea behind this is that you can 'blur' the lines of your lip product so you can mix many colours together to create a ombre look. Or, you can just use one colour to create a more natural look. 

Because this product is labelled as Matte Pencil you might be freaking out. Matte and pencil makes you think like it's dry right!? Wrong! Like I said, it's more of a crayon so imagine a really smooth, matte, lip crayon and this is what you get. 

The pigmentation as you can see is out of this world and I only applied the smallest of pressure to make these swatches too. When I was invited to L'Oreal HQ, this product had all of us going oo-ahhh because it was just that pretty to play with.
