You Need Chi Chi Cosmetics Brow Pomade, Right Now

Brow pomades have been all the rage the last couple of years, but I never jumped on the bandwagon.. Until now.

Recently, I've seen so much hype about one in particular, Chi Chi Cosmetics Brow Pomade. I popped into Target, and it was on sale for just over $10AUD. Honestly, I couldn't resist.

If you're new to the idea of Brow Pomades, here's the low down. The product is a little jar of brow goodness. It's a thick, solid creamy consistency, sort of like a brow gel, but way more pigmented. Most brow pomades come in a variety of brow shades. The Chi Chi Cosmetics' Brow Pomade comes in 6, so hopefully there's a shade for you.

As you can see from the last photo, the product filled in my brows, so so nicely. The colour Black Brown is the perfect shade for me. Sorry I couldn't give a super close up, I thought I would look too nakey because I'm wearing a shoulderless top!

Application is super easy. You just dip the tip of an angled brush into the pomade, wipe off any excess on the lid. I'm sure people have different preferences on where to start with the brows, but I like to make a little line above and below my brow as a guide. I then begin to fill in from the center outwards and use the remaining product on the inner part of my brow. The first time I applied this, I definitely put on too much. But, it is forgiving. I just ran my brow spooly through my brows a couple times and all was fixed.

For my personal taste, I think a Brow Pomade is a bit too heavy for my eyebrows during the day time unless I use a spoolie like crazy. But, if I have a special event or I'm going out at night time, this is definitely now my go to brow technique.

How do you like to do your brows?
Have you used a Brow Pomade before?
Do you have any tips so it isn't as pigmented during the day?
