New Makeup Excitement From Sephora

Wednesday, November 04, 2015

Now that Sephora Australia is now online at www.sephora.com.au not only can we purchase some of Sephora's own products, but some incredible products from other brands that we could only dream of purchasing before. Okay, maybe not just dream of... But it was only possible if you were willing to spend a lot of time and effort tracking down a distributer. Or, if you ordered off the Sephora website, mucked around with international shopping, exchange rates etc.

Today's post will show you up close some gorgeous products that you can now finally get your hands on.

Starting off with a goodie that we could actually easily get before is Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash*. I myself haven't used this before so I was quite excited that I could finally try it out after hearing all the type. My lashes spread out and look very long, but unfortunately because I am one oily gal, the curl does fall. If only there was a waterproof version!

Moving into the special products now, first up is the 3 Concept Eyes Eyeshadow in #Madonna*. I have been wanting to try 3CE for so damn long! I've seen so many gorgeous swatches and eye looks with their products and yes, finally one is mine. This shade is stunning. It's purple, brown, shimmery, gorgeous goodness. As you can see from the swatch it is amazingly pigmented and that was just one light swatch, so I can just imagine the potential if I tried to build it up. I'm excited to experiment with this on the outer third of my lid.

Laqa & Co's Cheeky Lip in Humble Brag* not only has a cheeky name, but a killer colour pay off. Probably one of the smoothest lip crayons I have used, this product is really smooth and pigmented. It actually lasts on the lips too and fades nicely throughout the day - thumbs up!

Now, what I was most excited by are these two Make Up For Ever Aqua Matic Waterproof Guide On Eyeshadows in M-11 (Black)* and I-20 (Greeny Blue)*. I originally thought they were eyeliners and I guess that doesn't even matter because you could use it as an eyeshadow or eyeliner really - make up has no rules right? Both of these are incredibly pigmented as well. You have quite a lot of control over the thickness of application and they do blend quite well. Just because I'm scared of looking like I have a black eye, I would still probably only do a small section at a time.
Also just in, Tarte & Kat Von D are now available online too! The range is limited but they keep adding more - soooo exciting! I definitely want to get my hands on the Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette!
