Mario Badescu Drying Lotion - Review & Demo

Saturday, October 18, 2014

Those of you that have been following my instagram or youtube for a while would know that I have been suffering with acne - in particular the deep, cystic type.

A product that I 'investigated' online and eventually bought was the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. I picked mine up from Mecca Maxima for $27 AUD (woohoo but now its $22 permanently because of price changes).
(This picture is obviously not mine :P)

So far, I have been absolutely LOVING this product. The reasons why:
  • Helps to draw out my deeper acne: acne that has been dormant for months finally comes to the surface over time
  • Super easy to use
I think that the only con for this product is the fact that it is difficult to travel with. This is because you aren't supposed to mix up the formula, and it goes crazy in suitcases; therefore mixing. Then you need to wait for the formula to re-separate before you use it. But yeh - thats life, and the product itself is amazing so it doesn't really phase me that much.

Quick demo (get ready for some no makeup - messy hair - pj photos) #darealme

Here I am all clean and moisturised

I grab the bottle of the drying lotion and a cotton bud

Dip the cotton bud into the liquid down the bottom (pink stuff)
Pull the cotton bud and try not to hit the sides

I then dab it on my problem areas where I have really deep cystic acne,
and some new pimples before they come to the surface.

I wash it off the next day and that's about it !

I can say that after having used this product for a few months I can definitely see improvements. Not saying that my skin is perfect for obvious reasons; because it isn't haha! But it is improved

Hope you enjoyed this quick review and demo.
