Sheraton Nha Trang
Sunday, February 15, 2015Last year my family and I visited Nha Trang. We stayed at the Sheraton, loved it and now we are back. This time round, I wanted to share my experience with you.
Firstly, you had me at infinity pool.
Opposite the hotel (which you can see a sneak peak of in the pool photos) is Nha Trang beach. You may have heard of intense traffic in Vietnam and Nha Trang is no exception. However, The Sheraton has recognised this and has full time staff which are assigned to helping hotel guests cross the road. Sounds ridiculous I know, but it is definitely super handy & makes you feel comfortable trying to cross such a busy road.
On the beach itself you have amazing beach chairs & hotel staff that make sure no one takes your belongings. Thumbs up for safety! If you're also feeling peckish or thirsty, you can order food and drinks which they take across the road for you.
When it comes to food, this hotel is super guilty and is a contributor to my weight gain. Like most hotels, breakfast is a buffet. However, the food quality here is beyond amazing. It offers everything your heart could desire from traditional bread and cereal, to specialised Vietnamese Cuisine and your cooked Western favourites.
In particular, my favourite meal in the morning is Pho & a Vietnamese Pork Roll.
As mentioned before, lunch can be eaten by the beach - or the pool and other restaurants. My families favourite place is Toastina where you are able to get pastries, or full blown Italian, Western or Vietnamese meals. They also have an incredible choice of various unique smoothies and drinks.
What is one of your favourite hotels around the world?
